Website design and online booking for clinics

We build clinic websites where patients find the treatment they came for and book it online. For clinics in Australia and New Zealand.

What we do

  1. Website design and build

We design and build a clinic website around how a new patient decides: what you treat, who treats it, where you are and how to book. It is fast on a phone, easy for your team to edit, and written in plain words.

  2. Landing pages

A page built for one purpose, such as a new service or an ad campaign, so the person who clicks lands on exactly what they were looking for.

  3. A page for each service you want more of

One page per treatment, covering who it suits, who treats it, what the first visit involves and the questions people ask before booking.

  4. Online booking fixes

We work with the booking software you already use. We tidy the appointment types and labels, put the Book button where people look for it, and check that a new patient lands on the right practitioner and the right appointment.

What it looks like in practice

Three services, one page

A clinic offers sports physio, pregnancy physio and hand therapy, all on one "Services" page. We build a page for each, with a Book button that goes to the right practitioner.

A booking tool with too many choices

The online calendar lists twelve appointment types with internal names. We cut it to what a new patient needs and label each in plain words, such as "New patient appointment".

A page for a campaign

A clinic starts running ads for a new service. The ads go to a landing page about that service with a single clear next step, not the home page.

A phone-first path

Most visitors arrive on a phone. We check the Book button is visible without scrolling and the booking form works with one thumb.

How working with Opal works

  1. Discovery call

We talk through what the site needs to do for the clinic and where patients drop off now.

  2. Audit

We walk the path a new patient takes, from search or ad to booked appointment, and mark where it gets long or confusing.

  3. Scope of work

We walk you through what we'd build or fix, in what order and what it costs, quoted from an estimate of the hours involved. Nothing starts until you say go.

  4. Build and hand over

We build, test the booking path from start to finish, and hand over a site your team can edit.

Frequently asked questions

What should a clinic website include?

Service pages for each treatment, a page for each practitioner with what they treat, your address, hours and how to get there, and a Book button patients can reach without scrolling on a phone. We start from how a new patient decides, then build only what helps them get to a booking.

How do I get more patients to book online?

We walk the path a new patient takes, from a search or an ad to a confirmed booking, on a phone, and mark each point where it gets long. Then we send each service to its own page, put a Book button on every page and cut the booking tool to the appointment types a new patient needs.

Do we have to change our booking system?

Usually not. We work with the booking software you already use and fix how patients meet it: the labels, the appointment types, where the button sits and what happens after they book. If your system is the real problem, we say so and explain why before suggesting a change.

Why does a clinic need a separate page for each service?

A patient searching for "hand therapy" wants a page about hand therapy, not a list of everything you do. A page per service lets you say who it suits, who treats it and what the first visit involves. It also gives search engines and AI tools one clear answer to pull from.

Do you build a new site or rework the one we have?

Either. If your current site has solid bones, we rework the pages and the booking path. If it's holding you back, we rebuild. After a look at what you have, we recommend one and explain why, so you're not paying for a rebuild you don't need.

Will a new website help us show up on Google?

A clear, fast site with a page per service gives search engines and AI tools more to work with, but it isn't a promise of rankings. Getting found is its own piece of work, which we cover under SEO and AI search. We build the site so that work has a solid base.

What do you need from us to build the site?

Your current site login, access to your booking software, your logo and photos, and a list of the services you want more of. One person who can answer questions about who treats what. We work in accounts you own, and we never need patient records.

CRM and patient follow‑up

An enquiry lands on a Friday evening, nobody replies until Monday, and the patient has already booked elsewhere.
